Archaeological artifacts provide a unique window into the past. This blog, Maryland History by the Object, will highlight some of the seven million archaeological objects curated at the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Lab at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum. Ranging from the mundane to the spectacular, they encompass over 12,000 years of the state’s history and provide tangible ways to explore the broader contexts of Maryland’s past.
